The Loving Hearts: Joyfully Embracing God the Father’s Love

The Loving Hearts is an international prayer ministry envisioned originally by Veronica Weldes. Veronica was a Catholic laywoman devoted to serving the needs of the Catholic faithful through both evangelization of The Enthronement Devotion and extremely generous charitable giving. This website is an extension of her vision and her devotion to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts, and it is from this that the website derives its name “The Loving Hearts.” It encompasses many of the devotions which she herself strongly promoted and practiced with reverence.

Our mission is simple–to assist Catholic men and women across the world in recognizing God the Father as He is, as He lives, and as He loves. The Person of God the Father was in particular a source of great wonder for Veronica and she devoted her life to contemplating Him in all His fullness.

Each of the prayers and resources that we include on our website, whether they be to Jesus His Son, the Blessed Virgin Mary, or the Angels and Saints, has the end of enriching our relationship and understanding of God the Father, “in whom we live and move and have our being.”

The Enthronement Devotion

The Enthronement Devotion was established by Father MateoCrawley-Boevey in 1907 who was a priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts and who devoted his life to its promulgation. Pope St. Pius X entrusted this cause to him to spread the Enthronement to parishes and homes across the world, and so reunite the world under Christ the King.

The Enthronement Devotion is closely linked to the traditional Catholic devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Its goal is to bring the message of Jesus’ personal and passionate love into each and every family. Performing the Enthronement Devotion means enthroning and acclaiming the Sacred Heart of Jesus as the King within your home, thus becoming consecrated to Him in a profound way. It aims to bring families into greater unity with Jesus and Mary and give them joyful knowledge of the Twelve Promises made by Jesus to all those who sincerely adore His Sacred Heart.

The Enthronement Devotion’s roots go back to the eleventh and twelfth centuries when revelations to certain mystics showed Jesus’ Sacred Heart as beating for all men and women.

Eucharistic Adoration

Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and agitated. Then he said to them, “I am deeply grieved, even to death; remain here, and stay awake with me.”

And going a little farther, he threw himself on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not what I want but what you want.”

Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter, “So, could you not stay awake with me one hour? Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Again he went away for the second time and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” Again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words. Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? See, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up, let us be going. See, my betrayer is at hand.”

The Mystical City of God:

The Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary

I saw a great and mysterious sign in heaven; I saw a Woman, a most beautiful Lady and Queen, crowned with the stars, clothed with the sun, and the moon was at her feet (Revelation 12:1).

The holy angels spoke to me: “This is the blessed Woman, whom Saint John saw in the Apocalypse, and in whom are enclosed, deposited, and sealed up the wonderful mysteries of the Redemption. So much has the most high and powerful God favored this creature, that we, his angelic spirits, are full of astonishment. Contemplate and admire her prerogatives, record them in writing, because that is the purpose for which, according to the measure suitable to thy circumstances, they will be made manifest to thee.” (Excerpt, page 21)

The Mystical City of God is an inspired biography of the Virgin Mary by Venerable Mary of Agreda, a Conceptionist abbess who was widely renowned for her profound spiritual insight and advice. She is famous for having spread the Gospel among the Jumano tribe of Native Americans in the modern day New Mexico region, while simultaneously governing her monastery in Agreda, Spain. Such bilocations confirmed her extraordinary sanctity.

Her written work The Mystical City of God, is extremely noteworthy and valuable for those seeking to encounter the Blessed Virgin in a deeper way by learning about her life.

The Ten Commandments

Holy Love is the two great commandments of Love, the fulfillment of the gospel message, and the embodiment of the Ten Commandments.

1. I am the Lord your God: you shall not have strange gods before me.

2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

3. Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day.

4. Honor your father and your mother.

5. You shall not kill.

6. You shall not commit adultery.

7. You shall not steal.

8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.

10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.

One of the Pharisees, a lawyer, asked Jesus a question to test him. “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:35-40.

In the Gospels, Jesus makes clear that the defining characteristic of His disciple is Love. This is, in fact, the new commandment which he gives to us (John 13:34) that cannot be replaced by any other. Holy Love Ministries is an apostolate dedicated to seeing this commandment realized in the world today. The private revelations to American mystic Maureen Kyle-Sweeney from Heaven have provided the framework for the mission she received.

The HolyLove.org website includes the latest messages received from Heaven and a complete collection of the most important revelations.

The Bread of Life: Eucharistic Jesus

Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day; for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. John 6:54-55

The Bread of Life Ministry exists to promote a greater awareness of Jesus Christ’s true presence in the Blessed Sacrament as well as His sacrifice made present to us at every mass for the sake of our reconciliation with the Father. It offers devotional materials such as the prayers written by American mystic Geraldine Miller.

“The Bread of Life” image represents a vision which Geraldine often receives during the consecration of the bread and wine during Mass.
